Product Overview
The TF6375–TF6380 are monolithic integrated circuits used for monitoring battery, power-supply, and regulated system voltages at extremely low power consumption. Each circuit consists of a precision bandgap reference, comparator, and internally trimmed resistors that set specified threshold voltages. These devices provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when monitoring common system voltages (e.g. 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V and 5V).
These circuits perform a single function: they assert and output signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below a preset threshold. The devices are differentiated by their output logic configurations and preset threshold voltages. The TF6375/ TF6378 (push-pull) and TF6377/TF6380 (open-drain) have an active-low output (OUT* is logic low when VCC is below VTH). The TF6376/TF6379 have an active-high push-pull output (OUT is logic high when VCC is below VTH). All parts are guaranteed
to be in the correct output logic state for VCC down to 1V. The detectors are designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. The TF6375/TF6376/TF6377 have voltage thresholds between 2.2V and 3.08V in approximately 100 mV increments. The TF6378/ TF6379/TF6380 have voltage thresholds between 3.3V and 4.63V in approximately 100 mV increments.
Ultra-low supply current of 500 nA (TF6375/TF6376/TF6377) makes these parts ideal for use in portable equipment. All six devices are available in space-saving SC70-3 and SOT23-3 packages. They operate over the industrial temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C temperature range.
